Terrific Indian restaurant tucked away on March Rd that we stumbled upon. So glad we did! We had the South Indian curry lunch special and it was amazing. It came with curry, rice, salad, naans and samosas. Everything was cooked perfectly and was plentiful. Found a new go to spot for Indian.

What an unexpected find! One of the best Indian cuisine experiences I've enjoyed. Very flavourful nuanced cuisine, with lots of interesting dishes to explore. EDIT: one year later and several more visits under our belt, I will confidently say this is the best Indian restaurant I've visited in Ottawa and Montreal. Only one restaurant in London England comes close to it. Be sure to order the Malabar fish, our favourite dish.

Went to Rang De for their saturday morning breakfast buffet from 9 - 11:30 am. The place is nice, clean and aesthetically pleasing. The way that the buffet worked was a bit different though. There was no hot bar food area to pick what you want as you have to order from the waiter. The selection on the menu was a bit small and there was no meat in any of the item but the food tasted great. I highly enjoyed the pongal, vada and masala dosa. Their sauce were a delight as well. I read in some previous review before coming here that the service was bad but I found it alright as I did not have to wait very long for my order to arrive. Overall for 20 I'd say it was still worth the money for authentic indian food especially if you wanted some dosa.

Rang de Cuisine has become my regular spot since I work nearby. It is a quality driven restaurant. I stop by for tea often, either to go or to sit in, and the tea is consistently well-made. I’ve also tried the choley bhature, which is solid and worth ordering. I would specially point out the dining in experience —you won’t find it overcrowded, and the ambience is very nice, neat, and clean. The staff is very welcoming and smiling, and I’ve come to know some of the people here—like Aishwarya, Ruhi, and Hari—because I come here regularly. It’s a reliable choice for good food and a comfortable stop. I’ve tried a lot of other Indian restaurants, but this one is by far the one I’ve liked the most. Even though I live far off, I order food through Uber Eats only from this place because I trust the quality. Anyway, a great tea and dense books make life worth living.

This is our fifth visit to Rang De Restaurant Ottawa and it never fails to amaze us. Any occasion we would like to dine here. Krishna was super helpful and took our spice level into great consideration. We thank him and the whole team at the Restaurant. We ordered vegetarian dishes and they were good!! Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in Ottawa. Best wishes!!
